First of all the restaurant was pretty packed when we arrived and we had to wait a bit even with reservation (maybe they all have coupons like mine too? LOL). The service was very friendly though. Bread came in a cone-shaped container and I liked how it was hot so butter could be melted easily.
One of us ordered a 3 course prix fixe meal (which was $30; but if you ate at the downtown location during these two weeks, it's only $25 as the Winterlicious price!), and the service was attentive enough to split the appetizer - which was a garden salad - into 3 smaller individual bowls for us without asking. However, the dressing for the salad was way too sour to be edible.
For mains, the cedar plank salmon had a nice lemon white wine and tomato broth on it and the sirloin from surf and turf was juicy, tender, and seasoned well. The shrimps were big but were a bit tough on texture. The complimentary baked potato was a nice touch.
Food: 3.8/5 (their steak is pretty good!)
Service: 4/5 (attentive considered it's a chain restaurant)
Decor: 2.8/5
Location: Various location across the GTA.
